One of our most outstanding solutions is the use of <strong>ATH AS55 (alumina trihydrate)<\/strong> specially formulated <strong>to improve scratch resistance<\/strong>, a crucial aspect in applications where <strong>durability<\/strong> and <strong>aesthetics<\/strong> are paramount.<\/p><p>The development of ATH AS55 provides high scratch resistance while maintaining an<strong> excellent level of whiteness<\/strong>, which allows for high-quality finishes. This material undergoes different processes to guarantee innovative properties in Solid Surface: <strong>it reduces marking and scratching due to its high hardness, class 6 on the Mohs scale, similar to that of steel<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The integration of ATH anti-scratch with the resin is the same as with other ATHs we have for Solid Surface, since the product is supplied ready to mix with the resin in usual proportions.<\/p><p>Our polyester resins, based on ISO-NPG and modified with MMA, offer improved surface hardness and protection against UV radiation, which also helps to <strong>extend the life of the Solid Surface piece<\/strong> and maintain its original appearance for longer.
