Technical training in demolding: process optimization and profitability in composites.
At Clades Composites, we continue to strengthen our commitment to the continuous improvement of our customers’ production processes through specialized training initiatives. In this context, our colleague Coral Ripoll, Technical Sales Representative, delivered a technical session last week focused on the efficient use of release agents from the Ababol line, aimed at maximizing profitability thanks, among other factors, to the significant increase in the number of demoldings per cycle they enable.
During the session, the technical characteristics of release agents, sealers, and cleaners were addressed in depth, with a focus on their correct application within the different industrial processes commonly used in the composites sector. The training provided insight into how proper mold preparation, together with selecting the most suitable product, directly impacts the final part quality, reduces demolding issues, and optimizes cycle times.
One of the key pillars of the session was the overall process profitability. Beyond the direct product cost, emphasis was placed on how a proper release strategy contributes to extending mold service life, reducing rejects, minimizing production downtime, and improving process repeatability. All of this translates into a tangible improvement in operational efficiency.
These types of training initiatives are part of Clades Composites’ approach as a technical partner, supporting our customers not only in the supply of raw materials but also in the transfer of applied knowledge that enables maximizing the performance of each process.
We remain committed to training as a key tool to drive industrial competitiveness and ensure the maximum performance of our solutions in demanding production environments.
