SOLID SURFACE MANUFACTURING.

A solid surface is obtained when a material has a homogeneous behavior and composition throughout its thickness.

ATH type fillers (alumina trihydrate) and with polyester resins based on ISO-NPG, resins to which a small percentage of MMA is usually added to improve surface hardness.

CLADES COMPOSITES has ISO-NPG-based polyester resins, modified with MMA to achieve the best performance on solid surfaces, with a UV radiation protection filter.

In Solid Surface with polyester resin it is common to manufacture:

  • Shower trays
  • Kitchen sinks
  • Washbasins
  • Decorative panels
  • Bathtubs

Within the usual fillers on solid surfaces, we have different ATHs with different features:

  • Level of whiteness, translucency
  • Use of coatings to improve adhesion with the resin
  • Different granulometries

SPECIAL DEVELOPMENTS OF COMPOSITE CLADES ON SOLID SURFACE .

ATH AS55 (scratch resistant ATH).

  • Improves surface scratch resistance and reduces the risk of soiling.
  • The product is supplied ready to mix with the resin in normal proportions.
  • The solid surface thus obtained has greater scratch resistance than the conventional solid surface and better behavior when marked with fingers.

HEMATITE 70% (Black scratch resistant solid surface).

  • One of the major problems with solid surfaces in dark colors is the visibility of scratches, as they are more easily marked.
  • With 70% hematite we obtain dark colored pieces, especially black, highly resistant to scratching, which offers a unique product on the market.
  • Our technicians can provide the most suitable formulation for your needs.

At Clades Composites we manufacture and/or distribute solid surface fillers, resins and the necessary additives for them such as hardener (peroxide) and promoters such as cobalt octoate.
